Marine Day at the Bengals Game

Jeff at the 35 yard line at the Bengals Game during half time.

All the Marines and there Recruits on the sidelines before being swarn in.
Micah and I in the stand

Big guy enjoying the game.

Jeff sitting with us for about 5 minutes before he had to go back to work. He bought me a new camera, so this is why I have pictures of the event. THANKS BABE!
So when the Bengals played Houston it was Marine Day and we were able to go to the game for free. Jeff had to work the whole day because during half time all of the recruits went onto the field to be sworn it by a Drill Instructor. It was really amazing. Then Jeff had to stay with the Recruits and keep them together. The whole crowd was yelling USA while they marched onto the field it was so cool. Jeff was able to meet some of the players.

Fall Festival

Micah LOVED the tractor. He definitely is our mechanical guy. He wanted to be as close as possible to the tractor on the hay ride. I think that is what he liked the most.

This is a funny picture to me. The headless scarecrow is as big as him. haha
Daddy and Micah cute butts!

Mommy and Micah

Micah loved the baby chicks.

YeeeHaw it's Fall

Two cutest in the world!

16 1/2 weeks and I feel the baby!

Today was the first day that I could feel the baby and know it was not gas. hehe

I have to say the best part of being pregnant is feeling the little life inside me get strong. Other than than pregnancy is not fun, at least not for me.

We are helping a coworker of Jeff's that is also a friend and he is going to move in with us by the end of the month. That means I have to clean and organize my office which was the catch all. Needless to say, we have been purging tons of stuff.

Micah starts speech therapy next Friday. I am hoping we can get him caught up before he turns 3. His test results show that he isn't to far behind, but enough to need to get some help. I have no clue what to do to help him, so I am glad for the help.

Jeff's work is busy, busy, busy. He is doing a great job and really proving what a great leader he truely is. He makes us so proud.

Fly Lady

Have you heard of www.flylady.net if not you should check it out. I found her site when I lived in Georgia, but since moving to Ohio I haven't really been following her anymore. I am setting a new goal to start with Fly Lady again and to get our house in great condition. Our house isn't crazy cluttered, but I can always do a better job.

Now that I am feeling better, I want to start some good housekeeping habits before baby #2 shows up. I also need to learn how to de-clutter Micah's toys. So, hopefully she can help me with that.

We are helping Jeff's co-worker and he is going to move in with us. This is more motivation to get things de-cluttered and clean. Nothing like a deadline to help move things along!

Now if only I could get my cooking mojo back, Jeff would be super happy. I haven't cooked for him in a while. I was cooking every night before I got preggers. It's hard to cook when there is so much that makes me sick and smells that make me sick. Takes all the fun out of it.

Baby #2 first picture

On Wednesday we had our first ultrasound. Here is the little one. Already measuring above average. This one is measuring almost a full week ahead of schedule. With a heart beat of 174.

Our next ultrasound to find out the sex of the baby will be around Halloween.

The most amazing thing in the world is to hear that little heart beat. It makes it so real for me. Knowing that a sweet little person is getting big and strong inside.

Micah is super excited. Every time we ask him if he wants a brother or sister he says 'yes yes yes' it is so cute. I have taught him to pat my belly and say 'baby' . Hopefully he doesn't walk around and do that to others. LOL

Like Father, Like Son

This is Micah on his 2nd Birthday
This is Jeff and Micah the Saturday before Father's Day at Bass Pro Shops

Of course when we go to BPS we have to check out the bikes and boats.

Micah is all about riding bikes with Daddy. Double trouble for me.

Ice Cream Truck

Daddy loves to spoil Micah with new fun things and a few weeks ago it was the ice cream truck. It had stopped right in front of our house because my neighbor across the street was buying ice cream for her kids and friend's kids, so of course Jeff wanted to get Micah something. Micah took about three bites and then handed it to me, he was all done. Micah just wanted to play with the other kids.
